Hello there, Danielle!
Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is my favorite Resort. Its stunning Victorian elegance is the epitome of luxury, and because you’re at
Walt Disney World Resort, it remains child-friendly with its warm and inviting atmosphere. My family and I adore the Cast Members there who always make us feel so special and at home. I am so excited to hEAR you will be visiting Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa soon!
The Beach Pool is so much fun, with its 181-foot-long slide, cascading waterfalls and the zero-depth entryway. If you want a quieter, more peaceful atmosphere, you will love the Courtyard Pool. Complimentary towels and lifejackets are available at The Captain’s Shipyard. Pool hours and lifeguard availability vary and are subject to change. I called and spoke to a Cast Member who told me currently, the pool hours of the Beach Pool are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. every day, and the Courtyard Pool hours are 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. These hours could be extended once it is warmer out. While we were there late April last year, the Beach Pool hours had been extended to 11 p.m.
You will find the Beach Pool has
cabanas available to rent. The amenities include a dedicated Cast Member providing service to the cabana, two padded lounge chairs, a ceiling fan, fruit and snack baskets, and a mini refrigerator stocked with complimentary sodas and water, and more!
After swimming, I always work up an appetite. If you want to grab a bite to eat,
Beaches Pool Bar & Grill at the Beach Pool is a great place to grab lunch and drinks. Once we’re through swimming, I like to take a short walk over to
Gasparilla Island Grill, open 24/7 and order a meal to go so we can relax in our rooms and eat!
Danielle, I hope you have the most magical vacation at The Most Magical Place on Earth!
Aena
