In Grand Cayman, if we do the Rum Point & Stinray City Snorkel, how much time is spent at the beach and how much is spent actually snorkeling at SRC? Do we travel from DCL to Beach to SRC to Beach to DCL, and by what mode for each leg of the trip? THAN

    Welcome back, Melissa!

I highly recommend one of the Grand Cayman Port Adventures that includes a visit to Stingray City! I was so thrilled to experience swimming with the stingrays earlier this year with my son who still talks about his time there. You're in for a treat!

The Rum Point Beach Adventure & Stingray City Snorkel Port Adventure includes quite a few means of transportation, but getting there is half the fun on this adventure. I checked with an agent at Disney Cruise Line to confirm the transportation details. First, you take an air-conditioned mini-bus to the dock where you will board a catamaran for an enjoyable 60-minute ride to the gorgeous beach. There, you will board a glass bottom boat, which is such a fun way to sail out to Stingray City. Instead of just being transported on any type of boat, here you'll get to view sea life below you as you head toward Stingray City. This is an adventure in itself!

After some time interacting with the stingrays out in the water, your glass bottom boat will return you to the beach for some relaxing time in the sun or shade. Though exact times with the stingrays and on the beach will vary based on each adventure, guests can expect about two and a half to three hours from the time they arrive at the beach and head out to Stingray City before they re-board the 60-minute catamaran ride back to the dock, and then the mini-bus back to the ship. When I swam with the stingrays earlier this year, we had about 45 minutes in the water, which was certainly ample time to interact and take photos with these amazing creatures.

I hope that helps as you continue to plan your exciting cruise! Please let me know if you have further questions before you set sail!
