Grand ballroom buffet 2024 will you have one? I have been many years ago and would like to attend again for Thanksgiving. It will be my husbands 70th birthday! D

    Welcome to planDisney, Dawn!

I'm so glad you thought of us while you plan a magical Thanksgiving feast with your Ohana in 2024. I remember dining with my family in the Grand Ballroom at the Disneyland Hotel several years ago for Mother's Day. It was such a luxurious and wondrous feast!

Last fall, I spoke with one of the friendly cast members at the hotel. She confirmed that since the hotel reopened in 2021, there hasn't been a Grand Ballroom holiday buffet. She even double-checked with the catering and events team, and unfortunately, there are no plans for a Thanksgiving Buffet in the ballroom being considered.

But, Dawn, there's still good news! If you're still looking to Be Our Guest for an upscale feast, the Napa Rose restaurant at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa served a divine prix-fixe 4-course Wine Country Feast last Thanksgiving, and I would imagine this elegant affair will be offered again in 2024. It's the perfect choice if you're looking to add a touch of luxury to your Thanksgiving/ Birthday celebration.

Now, let's talk about my favorite restaurant in the entire resort, Storyteller's Cafe, and the hugely popular Goofy's Kitchen. Both of these places had absolutely fantastic Thanksgiving menus a few months ago. There was an early start lunch buffet featuring all the traditional Thanksgiving favorites. For dinner, there was a different buffet loaded with turkey, classic Thanksgiving sides, prime ribeye, and even a parade of pies – pumpkin, of course, but plenty of other delicious options, too!

Dawn, as soon as the holiday menu is available, which will probably be in early Fall 2024, make sure to snag a Thanksgiving Day dining reservation for your family. Those holiday reservations can vanish faster than the Cheshire Cat, so keep your eyes peeled on the Disney Parks Blog. Special holiday menus tend to pop up closer to the date. That's my go-to spot for staying in the loop on events, foodie guides, and announcements all year round.

I hope this info helps you lock in the magical Thanksgiving birthday dinner you've been dreaming of, Dawn. If any more questions pop up for you, just come back and visit me again. I'm bursting with excitement to share my best tips and tricks to make your visit as magical as can be!

A very merry unbirthday to you!
