I graduate this June, but I am missing graduation because I will be in Disney World (which is the best reason to miss graduation by far). However, I was hoping to take some photos in a cap and gown in Disney World, is this against the guidelines?

    ConGRADulations, Kailey!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I'm so excited to hEAR all your hard work paid off, and you'll be graduating very soon! A celebration at Walt Disney World Resort is exactly what you need to celebrate such a huge achievement.

Although Guests of 14 years of age or older cannot wear costumes to the Theme Parks, you should be able to wear your cap and gown for pictures. As long as your cap and gown obtain nothing offensive (for instance, as stated in the Rules of Attire, "Clothing with objectionable material, including obscene language or graphics" is prohibited) you should have no problem snapping some stunning pictures. I've seen the most beautifully decorated caps with favorite Disney movie quotes!

There are Disney PhotoPass Photographers at several areas of the parks to capture all the magical moments. I would advise you get the Memory Maker; it is the most convenient way to download and share your Disney PhotoPass memories!

Since this is a momentous occasion, I encourage you to check out Disney PhotoPass Service Studio located in Disney Springs Marketplace. They provide portraits with your choice of background and setting. There is also a more formal option, Disney Fine Art Photography which allows you to book a photo shoot with your choice of locations, including the Theme Parks!

Kailey, I hope you have the most magical time celebrating your accomplishments! You deserve to treat yourself with all the yummy Disney snacks!
