Greetings, Misty!
A very warm welcome from all of us at planDisney! I see that you're planning a visit to the Disneyland Resort later this year and I'd be happy to help you with your inquiry. Every year, I get Spring Fever when the weather warms up, and I can't think of a better way to indulge myself than a trip to the Happiest Place on Earth! There's just something special when the days get longer and the nights are cool yet comfortable.
Disneyland Resort Grad Nite will be returning again this year and will host the graduating Class of 2024 with an unforgettable after hours party at Disney California Adventure on select nights in May and June. It's such a wonderful
tradition that dates back to the early 1960s and many families consider it a rite of passage for their teen to experience this before entering the next chapter of their lives.
We don't have the Schedule for your visit dates yet, but I would expect that regular day Guests will have the option of watching
World of Color even on evenings when a Grad Nite is occurring. Disney California Adventure generally closes at 9 p.m. on Grad Nites and, in previous years, World of Color has been scheduled at 8:45 p.m. or 9:00 p.m. on those evenings. So day Guests would definitely be allowed to stay in the park and enjoy a World of Color showing to cap off the night! The
Entertainment Schedule is generally released approximately six weeks in advance, so I would recommend verifying this data when your visit gets a little closer. Don't forget that you'll have the chance to sign up for the
virtual queue for World of Color beginning at noon on that day.
Misty, I hope that this was helpful information for you. Pixar Fest and Season of the Force will also be going on at the time of your visit, so I'm sure you'll find plenty to do during your stay. I know that you're going to have a fantastic time! If you need any further advice from us, please feel free to write back anytime. We're here to help you plan a magical vacation!
Wishing You a Great, Big, Beautiful Tomorrow!
