I see that you can grab a snack at the Harambe fruit market at the Animal Kingdom park using the Disney Dining plan, so are we able to use the dining plan at the new Harambe food market as well?

    Jambo Cristen!

I'm so glad you stopped by the Disney Parks Moms Panel today with your question about my favorite topic - food!

I love trying new dining spots at Walt Disney World, so I was really excited when I read about the new Harambe Market option at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park.  As luck would have it, I was at Animal Kingdom on one of the first days it was open, so (in the name of research - it's a tough job, but someone has to do it, right?) I made a stop to sample some of the things off the menu.  All I can say is, "YUM!"  The Grilled Chicken Skewer, Ground Beef Kabob Flatbread (similar to a gyro) and watermelon lemonade were all amazing.  Harambe Market is definitely a great addition to the other Quick-Service restaurants at Animal Kingdom.  I am also happy to report that it does participate in the Disney Dining Plan as a Quick-Service location.  And just a quick tip that might help you make it through the line a little faster - with the exception of the ribs, you can order any menu item at any of the windows, so just choose the shortest line when you arrive.

Wishing you delicious dining and a magical vacation, Cristen!  We'd love to hEAR from you if you have any other questions as you make your plans.
