Welcome to planDisney, Molli, and may I be the first to wish you a
Very Merry Christmas!
I love the Christmas season and I know how magical celebrating the
holidays at Walt Disney World Resort can be. From all of the incredible Christmas decorations in the parks and resorts to the variety of delicious holiday treats, there's so much holiday magic to enjoy! Over the years, my family has enjoyed several visits to Walt Disney World during the holiday season and we've created special Christmas memories each time.
There has not been a date announced for this year's return of
festive fun. I would recommend keeping an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog and on
Disney's official social media accounts for any updates regarding this year's
merry makeover. Last year, the Disney Parks Blog announced in early September that
Walt Disney World Resort Holidays Start Nov. 6: "We know how much our guests love the holidays, so from Nov. 6-Dec. 30, they will be able to enjoy festive décor, themed merchandise, seasonal food & beverage offerings and entertainment all across Walt Disney World Resort."
I would expect the holiday season to kick off around the same time this year. Early November
'tis the season when the parks typically transition for the holidays. I would suggest planning a visit around the second week of November to enjoy all the
Christmas cheer at the Most Magical Place on Earth.
While you wait for
Santa Claus to come to town, be sure to check out the
Everything Holidays section on the Disney Parks Blog to get
that Christmas feeling anytime of year. You can discover #DisneyMagicMoments such as
holiday recipes,
DIY gift ideas, and even a
digital Advent Calendar. You can also enjoy a
Virtual Viewing of 'Minnie's Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks' at Walt Disney World Resort.
Molli, please
let me know if I can help you with any other questions as you plan your holiday visit to Walt Disney World Resort.
Have a very merry day!
Santa Bob
