Where is a good spot to watch fireworks if I'm not in Magic Kingdom Park? Any hotel or hotel beach? Suggestions please & thank you.

Hello there, Karen! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We appreciate you taking the time to submit your Walt Disney World Resort question!

Viewing a nighttime spectacular is the perfect way to end a full day at Walt Disney World Resort! There’s just something so exciting about watching the dazzling displays of light and sound as you wind down from a long day in the parks. Sometimes, though, the best viewing experiences can actually be found outside of the parks!

Technically, there are many places you can view the nighttime fireworks shows from outside Magic Kingdom but I recommend considering one of the Disney Resort hotels on the Monorail loop! This includes Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort, Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, and Disney’s Contemporary Resort. All three of these Disney Resort hotels have particular viewing areas in which the music from the firework shows is piped in.

If you prefer an outdoor viewing area, I would recommend the beaches at either Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort or Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. If you’d prefer a more upscale experience, you can always make dinner reservations at California Grill at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. Guests with reservations at this dining location are invited back to watch the nightly fireworks display from their private observation deck. There’s nothing quite as enjoyable as dinner and a show!

I hope you and your family have a magical time during your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
