Where is a good spot to rest with my 7 year old in Magic Kingdom

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Angie!

Wow!  Your magical getaway is almost here!  In just a couple of weeks you will be walking through The Most Magical Place on Earth.  I am so very excited for you to spend the day exploring with your little one!

Even with Tinkerbell's pixie dust, a day flying around Magic Kingdom Park can have anyone doing their best Grumpy impression without a few well placed breaks.  I have found there are a couple different ways you can work rest breaks into your day, without missing out on any of the fun!

One of my favorite ways to create rest breaks is to use indoor attractions and spread them throughout our plan for the day.  My family strategically places a visit to the Hall of Presidents mid-morning for our first break.  Midday, when it is getting warm, grab a DOLE whip from Sunshine Tree Terrace and then sit in the Enchanted Tiki Room for a quick break and treat!  For our final afternoon break, we head over to Tomorrowland and learn about a great, big, beautiful tomorrow at the Carousel of Progress.

If you are looking for a spot to just sit and watch the enchanted world go by, there are two places I would recommend.  You can grab a table (and a treat) with a stunning view of Cinderella Castle at Plaza Ice Cream ParlorCasey Jr. Splash 'N' Soak is another great rest area featuring a water play feature to cool off!

Visit us again at the Disney Parks Moms Panel if you need any additional help planning your magical visit!

    See ya real soon!  Angie
