What is a good rertaurant to go to at Walt Disney World? We are all adults and I will be celebrating my first race. I would like to go to a place that is special. Please keep in mind that we are all on the Disney dining plan.

Hi, Kimmy!  I can't think of a place more special than the California Grill at the Contemporary Resort.  We have celebrated some very happy occasions here, and the menu is diverse enough to please a variety of palates.  The best part of this restaurant is the view!  Surrounded by windows and at the top of the resort, this restaurant offers views of the Magic Kingdom and the entire surrounding area.  If you time your dinner just right, you can see Wishes fireworks from this vantage point, but even if you're a bit early, you can gain access to the observation deck if you wish to come back to view the fireworks from this amazing location.  This location, like other signature dining locations at Walt Disney World, will require the use of two of your dining credits.

Jiko, another of the signature dining locations, is one of our favorite restaurants anywhere, whether at Walt Disney World or not.  We love the atmosphere, and I have always found the food to be incredible.  They also have a fabulous wine menu that is not to be missed.

For other incredible dining experiences, check out Teppan Edo at the Japan Pavilion in EPCOT and Artist Point at Disney's Wilderness Lodge.  Both would be amazing celebratory meals!

    Good luck in the race!
