Hello! There is a good possibility that I will be traveling to WDW solo early next Dec. (2013). Since I'm a college student and don't have much money I'm looking at the value resorts and ways to cut back on my food costs. Anyone have any ideas?

Hi, Nissa! Adding a Disney Dining Plan to your vacation package can help save some money on your food costs.  If that is still out of your budget, then I suggest eating a simple breakfast in you room, bringing food with you into the theme parks, and then only eating one meal a day at a restaurant.  You can really cut food costs doing this.  There are few restrictions, but you should expect that your food (like all bags) will be searched upon entry to the parks.  You cannot bring big coolers (larger than 24" (61 cm) long x 15" (38 cm) wide x 18" (46 cm) high) or one with wheels, but a small, insulated tote will be fine. You should also be aware you cannot bring in alcohol or glass containers (baby food jars are an exception).  Otherwise, you will be good-to-go! Happy planning and have a Magical vacation!
