    Where would be a good place for dinner after leaving AK? We are staying at the AK lodge with 2 picky eaters boys, 9 and 5. I don't know if they will eat the dinner food at AK Lodge. Thinking about Rainforest Cafe, but worried about transp leaving the park.

    Hi Karen,

    Disney is very aware that many children go through a picky eater phase. Even at a restaurant with relatively unique foods, such as Boma in the Animal Kingdom Lodge, there are always basic food options for kids. For example, the Boma buffet includes chicken tenders and spaghetti.

    If you didn't want to try that, my suggestion is to head over to Downtown Disney. Young boys often enjoy the T-Rex Cafe, which has a prehistoric theme and many audioanimatronic dinosaurs. There's also a Rainforest Cafe at Downtown Disney, with transportation running until at least 11:00 p.m.
