    Hi Debbie!

How exciting to be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort all the way from New Zealand! I want to be sure you have a very enjoyable trip to the Walt Disney World Resort, so I wanted to be sure you got an answer to this question. I have two answers for you, depending on what your vacation style and plans are.

Often, international visitors will spend a lengthy holiday at Walt Disney World. If you will be enjoying this type of vacation, and plan on spending a lot of time relaxing, taking it easy, exploring and enjoying the resort hotels, then traveling to Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort for breakfast sounds like a lovely idea. The best way to get there would be to hire a taxi cab. The trip would cost around $20, and would be a fairly quick journey, probably 10 to 15 minutes. To get there using Walt Disney World transportation, you would need to take a bus from Disney’s Boardwalk Inn to a theme park and then transfer busses. The bus stop is right outside the front entrance of the resort and will be clearly marked for you. I would recommend first traveling to either Disney’s Hollywood Studios or Epcot. Then you would need to change to a bus headed to Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort. I would allow yourself between 60 and 90 minutes for this journey.

On the other hand, if you wish to maximize your vacation time, or you plan on spending most of your time in the theme parks, I would advise you not to travel that far for breakfast. To do so is likely to use up quite a bit of your time. I would try to find an available Advance Dining Reservation at one of the resorts within walking distance of Disney’s Boardwalk Inn, or in the theme park you will be visiting that day. Alternately, perhaps enjoy a relaxing breakfast from one of the many delicious quick service locations throughout the Walt Disney World Resort.

Sending you pixie dust for bountiful and delicious breakfast dining!
