Good morning,I'm trying to book a trip to Disneyland through Disney Travel and cannot find a way to purchase the meal vouchers, only vouchers for character meals. Have they done away with the full day meal vouchers they used to offer for 2-Day, 3-Day, etc

    Hi Crystal,

Thank you for making a magical stop here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. You're going to love the Disneyland Resort, where magic happens everyday.

You are wise just like Owl from The Many Adventures if Winnie the Pooh, to be booking your magical vacation with the Disney Travel Company. The meal plans have been discontinued for 2014 however you may still purchase Character Meal Vouchers when booking a vacation package.

There are two types of vouchers available; the Premium is for the larger restaurants with more Disney Characters available, longer dining periods, and more meal choices. Premium Character Dining will include Goofy's Kitchen and Ariel's Disney Princess Celebration. The Character Resort Dining is for Breakfast in the Park with Minnie & Friends, Surf’s Up! Breakfast with Mickey & Friends, and Chip n Dale Critter Breakfast Buffet.

You do have the option to use your Premium or Character Resort Dining Vouchers at other dining locations however you will be paying at the counter when you show up at the reservation. Keep in mind that the vouchers have a set value. Change will not be given back or you may have to pay the difference if you spend more, so choose your menu items accordingly.

You may use these vouchers at the following locations:
Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel and Spa - Storyteller’s Café and Napa Rose
Disneyland Hotel - Goofy's Kitchen and Steakhouse 55
Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel - PCH Grill
Disney California Adventure Park - Wine Country Trattoria and Carthay Circle Restaurant
Disneyland Park - Blue Bayou, Carnation Café, Cafe Orleans, and Big Thunder Ranch BBQ

I hope this helps and that you have a pixie-dusted visit. If you have any more questions, please visit us here and let us know how we can help you plan your magical vacation.
