Good morning I was wondering the quickest way to get to epcot from the carribean Beach resort without using the skyliner as I am having issues riding it due to fear. Please advise and thank you so much

    Hello there Desiree,

Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for swinging by and sending a message our way. I love your question because it includes two of my favorite things... the lovely Caribbean Beach Resort and riding the Disney Skyliner!

If you have never ridden on a gondola type system before, I can understand your apprehension. The older I get, the more heights make me uneasy! I can assure you that the loading and unloading process is a very safe experience, and the ride itself is comfortable and smooth. It's typically a short wait to board, and the route seems faster than traveling by Disney bus. So you never know... maybe with a burst of faith, trust, and pixie-dust you'll decide to give it a try during your stay?

No matter what your decision is regarding the Skyliner, I think you're going to love Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. This wonderful resort has beautiful, tropical theming which has made it one of my family's absolute favorite places to stay when we vacation at Walt Disney World! Because it's one of the resorts located along the Disney Skyliner route, the Skyliner is the complementary transportation offered from Caribbean Beach Resort to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios.

Disney Bus Service might be available to EPCOT, especially in inclement weather. So upon your arrival it's definitely worth asking a Cast Member about the transportation options available during your stay.

If there are no complementary Disney buses traveling to EPCOT, another option would be using a rideshare or Minnie Van Service. This would likely be your fastest option. I've used Minnie Van Service at Disney World before, and it's a real treat. And personally, I love arriving at EPCOT from the front entrance, and taking in those gorgeous views of Spaceship Earth as I walk into the park! Buses and rideshares will bring you to the front main entrance at EPCOT, whereas the Disney Skyliner arrives at the "back entrance" called International Gateway at EPCOT's World Showcase area.

Desiree, I hope this helps and reassures you of some options that will allow you to enjoy both a stay at Caribbean Beach Resort and also have some adventures at EPCOT! Please feel free to send me a message at planDisney with any other questions.

    Magical memories await!
