Good morning, I am visiting the US next April & just have a question regarding photos. Are there any issues using tripods in the Park? Also do you allow the use of a GoPro throughout the Park such as selected rides?

    Howdy Richard,

Thank you for writing us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. I hope you are having a Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious day. I'm so excited for your upcoming visit to the United States and thrilled to infinity & beyond that you get to visit The Happiest Place on Earth!

Capturing magical moments on your personal camera is a great way to relive your Disney vacation when you are back home. You are fine to use a GoPro camera while at the Disneyland Resort, just make sure you secure your camera when on the attractions. You are allowed to bring a tripod throughout the Disneyland Resort as long as it is foldable and can fit in a standard backpack.

The Disney Parks does have a Professional Photography and Recording Equipment Policy that states: "Professional photographers with professional cameras or recording equipment, who are visiting the Disneyland Resort with the intent to take photographs or recordings of people, Disneyland Resort properties, or icons for professional purposes must request permission and make prior arrangements with appropriate Disneyland Resort representatives. Permission for any recordings or broadcasts on the premises are within the sole discretion of Disney."

As long as you follow the above guidelines, then you are fine.

I hope this helps and that you have a pixie-dusted visit. If you have any more questions, please visit me here and let me know how I can help you plan your magical vacation.

    Wishing you magic!
