Hi there, Balkaran,
Welcome to planDisney. I hope you're recovering well from your recent surgery! I've heard that a spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down, so be sure to keep that in mind.
It's not clear whether you have a Vacation Package or
theme park tickets to visit this summer, but if your procedure is going to derail your plans you may be able to
modify your travel dates to visit at another time. I'd recommend
reaching out to a Cast Member by phone to discuss your options and determine resort availability. Keep in mind that cancelation or change fees may apply.
Theme park tickets are non-refundable, but wholly unused tickets will retain their value. If you have new travel dates in mind you can
change the date of your unused ticket online. However, if you aren't sure exactly when you'll be ready to visit again, don't worry! The
value of unused expired tickets can usually be applied to the purchase of new standard theme park tickets, as long as the new tickets are of equal or greater value.
Should you decide to stick with your original travel plans please know that
accommodations are available for guests with mobility concerns. From wheelchair rentals to accessible queues and attractions, Walt Disney World Resort has got you covered.
Balkaran, I hope this was helpful. If I've misunderstood your question or you need further assistance please come back and see us again. You are also welcome to reach out to a
Cast Member by phone, email or online chat with additional questions or concerns.
Magic and memories,
Amy
