Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering has been a game-changer for my family! We will browse menus and build our order while we are waiting in line for an attraction or traveling on resort transportation. With a family that includes teens and young adults, sometimes if we don't all have a hankering for the same type of cuisine, we'll split up, go pick up our orders, and then meet up again.
When your mobile order is ready, you'll get a notification through the
My Disney Experience mobile app with your order number and information about which pick-up window to use. Usually, there will be Cast Members expediting orders and they will ask to see the pick-up confirmation screen on your mobile device. Since I am the only member of my household with a
My Disney Experience account, my teens just log in to the app on their device using my sign-in information, so they will also see the pick-up notifications. If you are not comfortable giving them access to your account (
someone in my family ordered waaay too many cheeseburgers and Mickey bars during our last trip), you can send them a screenshot of the "Your Order is Ready" notification when you receive it.
One final tip: sometimes during busy mealtimes, certain locations will have limited arrival windows available for mobile ordering. Decide approximately what time you would like to eat in advance, and build your order early in the day.
