Hello, Victoria! Thanks for cruising by planDisney with your question. I’m so glad to help!
It sounds like you’re setting sail on the
Disney Fantasy from Southampton...how exciting! That ship holds a special place in my heart as it was my very first cruise and the one that got me hooked. Be sure to catch Disney’s Aladdin – A Musical Spectacular and soak in the beautiful Art Nouveau touches in the Atrium. If this is your first time aboard, planDisney has a handy
Pocket Guide to the Disney Fantasy that’s packed with tips!
Now, on to your question. You’re correct...those
Deluxe Family Oceanview Staterooms with Verandahs typically sleep up to five Guests. Since you currently have two rooms booked with only six people total, there may be room to add additional Guests to your reservation. However, there are a couple of things to keep in mind:
1. Ship and stateroom availability: Even if the room has physical space, you'll want to make sure that the cruise has not reached its overall passenger capacity due to safety regulations (like muster station and lifeboat assignments).
2. Additional cost: Any Guests added to your reservation will be booked at the current prevailing rate, which may differ from what you originally paid. If you’re already paid in full, changes can still be made, but again, it depends on availability.
To explore your options, your best bet is to
contact Disney Cruise Line directly. A friendly Cast Member can check your specific sailing and walk you through the possibilities.
Wishing you a magical voyage filled with sunshine and plenty of pixie dust! And if you think of more questions before you set sail, feel free to drop anchor here again.
“Sea” ya real soon!
