Welcome to planDisney, Pamela! I'm a fellow resident of the Sunshine State, and I also have a
Disney Pixie Dust Pass. We have lots in common! I see you plan to arrive at
Walt Disney World Resort soon, so let's talk about upgrading your admission so you can join the passholder family.
I chatted with a friendly Cast Member who said it sounds like you've purchased the
Florida Resident Disney Thrills Ticket. If that's the case, you can upgrade to an annual pass online or in the My Disney Experience mobile app by clicking "Upgrade" in the ticketing section. You can also
upgrade in person at guest relations or the concierge desk in your Disney Resort Hotel. Another option is to call the
Annual Passholders line for assistance with the upgrade.
If you upgrade over the phone, you'll pay the cost difference at that time. The current price of the Pixie Dust Pass is $439 plus tax, but prices are always subject to change. If you upgrade online or in person, you can set up a monthly payment plan for the cost difference.
Regardless of which method you use to upgrade, you must provide
proof of Florida residency during checkout or in person at
Guest Relations. Remember that you must make the upgrade before using the last day of your current ticket.
One of my favorite perks of being a passholder is the discount offered at most Disney restaurants. Once your annual pass is linked to your My Disney Experience account, your discount will automatically apply when you use
mobile ordering for food purchases. My favorite snack is the Caramel Butter Bar at
Karamell-Küche at EPCOT. And getting a discount decreases the calories, right?!
Pamela, I'm sprinkling pixie dust so you'll join the passholder fam for your upcoming visit. Please
stop by planDisney anytime!
Magic awaits,
Elaine
