Good morning, could you please tell me the best way to search rates and make a reservation for a military family wanting to stay on Disney property? Thank you!

Greetings, Ian, and welcome to planDisney. Allow me to offer my heartfelt gratitude to your family for their service. Mickey and I salute you! Eligible military members have several ways to plan for Walt Disney World Resort visits, so let's march right in!

My first tip is to contact Shades of Green. This resort is on property and is exclusively available to US military members. I recommend starting with the Reservations & General Information line. If you're eligible, you can book a resort stay at this resort and purchase theme park tickets through them. My husband spent some time in the military, so I've reached out to Shades of Green and found them very knowledgeable and helpful. I've heard their rooms are some of the largest on Disney property!

Another option is to check the Special Offers page to see if you qualify for any current military discounts at Walt Disney World. There are discounted rates at Disney Resort Hotels for most of 2024, so you can call the number on the offer page if you need more details.

Spring is a gorgeous time to visit, and my favorite festival is typically in full bloom in April. I hope you can check out the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival while you're there. The topiaries and Outdoor Kitchens make this a colorful and flavorful experience.

Ian, thanks again for stopping by, and come back to planDisney anytime! You'll always have our full...attention!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
