Hi Aaron! Welcome to planDisney!
Magical surprises await you around every corner at
Walt Disney World Resort and I'm so excited that soon you'll be able to share the magic with your little family. While I absolutely love the ease of renting a stroller straight from the Theme Parks I also think it's a great idea to bring along a stroller from home if your kids are very young and will most likely take a snooze in it. Disney days are SO exciting but can also be exhausting when you're getting up early for "rope drop" and staying up for late-night fireworks like
Disney Enchantment!
Walt Disney World recently changed its
guidelines for personal and rented strollers for use within the Theme Parks. As long as your Contours Curve Convertible Tandem Double Stroller fits within these guidelines there should be no issue getting through the turnstiles and down Main Street U.S.A. At the moment, the guidelines state that strollers should be no larger than 31" in width and 52" in length. After looking up the dimensions of the stroller you wish to bring, it looks like you're good to go with a width of 24.5" and a length of 51"!
If you haven't yet chosen which
Disney Resorts Collection hotel you plan to stay in during your vacation let me give you a tiny tip! Staying in one of the Resorts on the Monorail loop is a great way to keep from having to take your children out and fold up your stroller for every trip to and from
EPCOT or
Magic Kingdom. While strollers do need to be folded to board a
Disney Bus, they don't on the Monorail, allowing you to let sleeping children lie all the way back to your Resort!
Have a magical stay!
