Ahoy, Ginette!
What a MAGICal and MARVELous voyage you have planned for this February! I love having a sailing around this time of yEAR because it's something to look forward to once the holidays are over. Not only will you be able to experience the amazing regular programming available onboard the
Disney Magic, but you'll get to enjoy an
entire day dedicated to Marvel! This day will be jam-packed with epic fun, including lots of character meet-and-greet opportunities, activities, games, shows, movies, animation, trivia, and fan celebrations. I know you can't wait!
Ginette, I always like to plan ahead when it comes to what I pack for my Disney Cruise Line vacations. On the 2019 Marvel sailings, Guests enjoyed three cruise casual nights, one
pirate-themed night, and one Marvel night. Of course, dressing up in costume is optional, but you'll find a lot of Guests (of all ages!) enjoy being creative with their pirate and Marvel wear on these evenings. As for cruise casual, I like to bring sundresses, pants, nice jeans, and cute blouses while my husband will typically wEAR a polo shirt with nice khaki pants or shorts. I always have a sweater no matter what time of yEAR we sail because the indoor areas can be cool. My son usually wEARs something similar to his dad while my daughter likes dresses, skirts, and anything Disney-themed! You'll see lots of princesses, princes, and other Disney costumes around the ship!
It sounds like you'll be packing early for your February voyage, Ginette. This will definitely make the days leading up to your vacation a lot less stressful. Be sure to check out the
Disney Cruise Line Packing List for helpful information. And please let us know if you have any additional questions. We'd love to help.
Have a MAGICal day!
