Hey there, Teresa! Welcome back to planDisney!
I bet you and your family are getting extremely excited about your upcoming visit to
Walt Disney World Resort! I just know you're going to have the best time visiting the Parks, basking in the sunshine and giving hugs and getting autographs from your favorite character pals!
Did you know that just a few weeks ago your beloved character friends like Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse and Olaf started giving out warm hugs again?! Bring your pen and autograph book and enjoy another part of the Parks that you might have been missing!
While there are many
Character Dining experiences that have returned to what you remember them to be like,
Cape May Cafe at
Disney's Beach Club Resort is still not operating as a Character Dining location at this moment. However, that is NOT to say don't follow through with your reservation, because the food at Cape May Cafe is worth the trip even without your Disney pals there to greet you. If you haven't had the Salted Caramel "Beach Buns" I highly recommend them and promise you won't be sorry!
One of my favorite things about this dining location is the simplicity of walking to
EPCOT or
Disney's Hollywood Studios after you finish breakfast. If your
Theme Park Reservations are for either one of these Parks on your breakfast day you're just a hop, skip, jump (or
Disney Skyliner ride) away from all of your favorite attractions!
If you're desperately searching for character dining I would suggest visiting with your friends either at
Chef Mickey's, located in Disney's Contemporary Resort or at
Tusker House Restaurant in Disney's Animal Kingdom. I know your trip is quickly approaching, but keep an eye out for reservations that become available when Guests start finalizing plans and canceling reservations just a few days before their trip. I've had good luck finding dining reservations for the very same day!
I hope all your dreams come true while you're vacationing at The Most Magical Place on Earth!
