    Good morning! We arrive at WDW resort Friday night, July 27. We are doing MK early the next morning on Saturday, July 28. Info page says MK opens at 8 am. Does that mean the rope drop to the different lands is at 9 am?

    I love when Magic Kingdom opens nice and early and I can get a jump start on my day! The posted times in the Park Hours refer to "rope drop" as you mention. That means that for Magic Kingdom, if it opens at 8am, you can begin to enter Main Street U.S.A. at 7am. That's a great time to grab a bite to eat and watch the opening show. Closer to 8am, Cast Members will allow you to proceed to the various lands to officially begin your morning!
