Hey there, Alan, and welcome to planDisney!
It looks like you're getting ready for a magical summer vacation to the Most Magical Place on Earth – how exciting! With sunshine, adventure, and pixie dust on the horizon, you're in for an unforgettable experience. One of the things I'm most excited about is the incredible lineup of new entertainment coming to Hollywood Studios. I'm especially looking forward to the debut of the brand-new stage show,
Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After. This exciting production promises to bring a wickedly fun twist to the park's entertainment offerings, featuring some of our favorite villains in a way we've never seen before!
Once you arrive in the United States, here's what you'll need to do to apply for
Disability Access Service (DAS). The good news is that no official documentation is required to begin the process. You'll simply connect virtually with a Cast Member, either through the
Walt Disney World website or directly in your
My Disney Experience app. During the conversation, the Cast Member will learn more about your specific needs and help set up the most suitable accommodations to ensure your upcoming visit is as smooth and enjoyable as possible.
I also want to highlight that you can easily access Services for Guests with Disabilities right from your My Disney Experience app, making it extra convenient when you're exploring the parks. Simply start on the Home Screen and tap the three horizontal lines located in the bottom right corner. Then, scroll down until you find the "Accessibility & Health Services" section. From there, you'll be able to explore all the available options and choose the service that best fits your needs.
Alan, I hope this information makes your vacation planning a little easier. If any other questions come to mind along the way, please reach out again! We're always happy to help!
Magical Wishes,
Kami
