A very warm greetings to you, Joann!
Welcome back to planDisney and thanks for bringing us your question! I hope that you're having fun planning your Disneyland Resort Vacation and it would be our pleasure to help you fill in the details on your itinerary.
Disneyland Resort Theme Park Parking is available at the Mickey & Friends Parking Structure, Pixar Pals Parking Structure, and the Toy Story Parking Area. All lots are conveniently located near the Resort and offer bus or tram transportation to the Esplanade. I confirmed with a Cast Member that, once you pay for parking at one of these areas, you are able to leave and return to any of the lots for the rest of the day. The parking fee covers all three theme park lots for that day. Just be sure to keep your receipt as that is how they will verify that you have paid already.
Have you considered
renting an Electric Conveyance Vehicle (ECV) or Wheelchair for your husband for the day? That might make things much easier for you both and the rental location is right outside the Theme Parks. However you choose to navigate the Parks, Disney releases a lot of useful information on
Accessing Attraction Queues to give Guests strategies to maximize their time.
Joann, I hope this information was helpful in your planning. Please feel free to come back again if you need anything further. We'd love to hear from you and I hope you have fun planning your upcoming trip!
Wishing You a Great, Big, Beautiful Tomorrow!
