Any good ideas for my daughter sweet 16 celebration this summer?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Mom Panel, Joann! Walt Disney World is a fantastic place to spend a sweet 16 birthday.

Here are some fun ideas to make the day extra special:
    • At your first opportunity, stop by any Guest Services location and pick up an "I'm Celebrating" pin. You daughter will receive lots of birthday wishes every time she wears it.
    • Start the special day with a character breakfast. I have always loved the breakfast at the Crystal Palace located inside the Magic Kingdom. Not only will you get to rub elbows with Winnie The Pooh and his pals, if you get an early reservation you will be able to get some fabulous birthday photos along Main Street, U.S.A. before the crowds ascend.
    • How about a spa treatment? I know my 15-year-old would love to get a relaxing massage for her birthday.
    • No birthday is complete without a cake. Once you figure out where you will be eating dinner contact the Cake Hotline at (407) 827-2253 at least 48 hours in advance to order one of their amazing creations.
    • I can't think of a better way to end the day than a dessert party! Both the Magic Kingdom and Epcot offer fabulous dessert parties with VIP views for their fireworks displays.

I hope this helps with your celebration planning. If you would like more ideas or have any other questions please come back and see me.

Wishing you a magical vacation and a pixie-dusted day!
