Is it a good idea to book the Minnie Van in advance. If so, how far in advance.

    Hi Lana!

Disney’s Minnie Van Service is a great way to get around the Walt Disney World Resort! I think it is especially helpful when going from one Walt Disney World Resort Hotel to another. It was super convenient for us when needing to get to an early character breakfast at a different resort.

Disney’s Minnie Van is available for use within the Walt Disney World Resort, and now offers service between Walt Disney World Resort Hotels and select off property resorts, to either Orlando International Airport or Port Canaveral. You can reserve a Minnie Van for a trip to Orlando International or Port Canaveral up to 6 months in advance by calling 1-407-WDW-PLAY. I would recommend making a reservation as soon as you are able.

At this time, reservations are not available for shorter Minnie Van trips within the Walt Disney World Resort. To use Minnie Van in these situations, be sure to download the Lyft Mobile App before your visit. When you are ready for your ride, open the app and scroll till you see the option for the Minnie Van! Payment and optional tipping is done via the app, and so no need to worry about having cash on hand. Each Minnie Van seats up to 6 Guests, and two car seats are available for little ones. Travel in Minnie style to your destination, safely driven by a Walt Disney World Cast Member!

    Happy Travels!
