Aloha fellow Bay Stater, Kathleen!
We moved closer to The Mouse almost two years ago, but I must admit, I miss Boston every day! I don't know whether it's the Dunkin's or the fall foliage that will forever be in my blood, but I will always call Massachusetts home.
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort has one of the
most luxurious pools on property as well as the Kiki Tiki Water Play area for the littles. The pouring water buckets and spouting tiki statues can keep young and old delighted for hours. The hotel's beautiful beach area faces
Seven Seas Lagoon and
Magic Kingdom Park, and is one of my favorite places to grab a hammock and lounge away!
You'll be happy to hEAR that all
Disney Resort hotels have shower facilities located at each pool or in the fitness center. Some of the facilities stock soap, towels, and toiletries, so check to see what you need to bring. The one at
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort is in the locker rooms below the volcano.
Since you are swimming on your final day, I would suggest maximizing your pool time! The Oasis Patio is a quiet, shaded area next to the Oasis Pool with
cushioned lounge chairs where you can order food and drinks delivered from the
Oasis Bar & Grill. You can relax with fish tacos and Hawaiian beer while waiting for your departure!
Kathleen, if you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to come back.
