Welcome to planDisney, Susan! Thank you for stopping by planDisney with your question!
Your visit to Walt Disney World Resort is "just around the riverbend", and I know you want to get all your ducks in a row before your magical holiday begins! Guests visiting from the United Kingdom can begin applying for a
Disability Access Services (or DAS) pass once they arrive in the United States on the
US Walt Disney World website. This process can be done by having a live virtual chat with a DAS representative, who will determine eligibility. Once you are registered and enter your first theme park, you can begin requesting your first return time to an attraction. DAS Guests now can have a maximum of four guests (including the DAS user) in their group. If you have additional questions regarding DAS, you can an email to disability.services@disneyparks.com.
There are so many new and exciting attractions to experience this summer, including
Tiana's Bayou Adventure, which opens at Disney's Magic Kingdom Park on June 28th! Over at EPCOT,
Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana takes guests on different trails and you will get to experience the beauty of water in various ways! For the thrill seekers in your group, experience the world of Xandar on
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. Don't forget to make your Virtual Queue reservations for this attraction beginning at 7 AM (same for
TRON Lightcycle/Run when you visit Magic Kingdom!).
Susan, I hope you and your family have a magical holiday! Thank you for visiting planDisney. If you need additional pixie dust before your visit, please send me questions anytime. You've got a friend in me!
Magic Awaits!
