Hi Shawn!
From one Marylander to another, welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by to be part of our world as you plan your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World Resort!
Shawn, the
Disney Resorts Collection features more than two dozen resorts - each with its own unique personality.
Disney's Pop Century Resort is a whimsically fun walk down memory lane full of bright colors and larger-than-life theming. While there is a lot to love at this resort, unfortunately, the maximum room occupancy here is four adults. I know this may be disappointing, but I'm happy to offer a few options that may work for your stay.
Since staying at Pop Century is important to your plans, you could choose to book two rooms at this resort. If you're making your reservations online, you will need to book one room at a time, and then you
call Disney Resort Hotel Reservations to note a request for connecting rooms. While room requests cannot be guaranteed, I've always found Cast Members will do their best to accommodate when possible!
There are a few neighboring resorts that are super close to Pop Century, which may also be convenient choices for your family.
Disney's Art of Animation Resort is connected to Pop Century by a walking path. At this property, you can find Family Suites that will accommodate up to six adults and include two full bathrooms - plenty of extra space for older kids to spread out! You'll also find
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort just a quick
Disney Skyliner ride away from Pop Century. Caribbean Beach has an option to book 5th Sleeper rooms, which can accommodate up to 4 adults plus a "junior" guest. The room is a standard hotel room with two queen beds and a single child-size pull-down bed.
Regardless of where you choose to stay, as a Guest staying in the Disney Resorts Collection, you'll be able to enjoy many
resort benefits, including
complimentary resort transportation and advanced booking windows for
dining reservations as well as
Lightning Lane passes. There are a lot of benefits to love, but my favorite resort perk is
Early Theme Park Entry! These extra thirty minutes available every day in each park are the perfect time to enjoy some of your favorite attractions with lower wait times!
Shawn, I hope this gives you a few options to consider for your family as you continue to plan a magical visit to Walt Disney World Resort! If you have any other questions, please stop by to see us again here at planDisney!
Happy Planning!
