Hi Christina!
You must be so excited! I love the day before I head to Walt Disney World - it’s the most exciting anticipation!
So let’s get right to your question so that you can get on with your packing! Leave the
life jackets at home unless your kiddo has one that he is personally attached to (and having a son that only wants “his” stuff, I understand if that’s the situation)! Almost all of the
Walt Disney World Resorts have complimentary life vests in multiple sizes readily available at the pool. You can borrow as many as you need, and if they aren’t immediately visible when you enter the pool area, a Cast Member will be more than willing to show the way.
Since
Walt Disney World is
wild about safety, you’ll have room in your luggage for an extra swimsuit or two! You will be able to put them to good use at
Disney’s Wilderness Lodge as there are
two fantastic pools (with life vests)! Copper Creek Springs Pool has a 67-foot waterslide that is gushing with excitement, while Boulder Ridge Cove Pool is a laid-back watery oasis with zero-depth entry.
In addition to the pools, the Resort has a ton of fun activities! We love to
rent bikes for a leisurely ride around the property. It’s also a fun way to see the native wildlife along the water. If you want a different journey, head to
Tri-Circle-D Ranch where the littles can
ride a pony, and the big kids can see the Resort via
horseback!
Christina, good luck with your adventure! If you have any more questions, please don’t hesitate to come back.
