    Good evening, me and my family are visiting Disneyland California next Tuesday Nov 12, 2024 and my mom is Blind there’s any options for her per her condition?

    Thanks so much for your question! I'd be happy to share some resources to help your mom have a better visit to the parks.

    There are services available just for guests who are blind, including devices with audio descriptions, Braille guidebooks and menus, and even tactile maps! If you're interested in any of these options then you should visit the Accessibility Services Kiosk on the east side of the Esplanade on the Disney California Adventure Park side. The kiosk is usually open up to one hour before the park opens, and it's best to go early since availability is limited.

    One of my favorite things about the Disneyland Resort is the constant presence of music that brings the parks to life! Your mom might enjoy stopping to listen to The Dapper Dans. They always sound fantastic! I also love visiting the Animation Building in Disney California Adventure Park and listening to the beautiful music that accompanies the images around the room. You don't have to be able to see to feel the story behind the notes and words.
