planDisney, Miriam! I’m excited to know that you have a plan in the works to visit the
Walt Disney World Resort with your family!
Don’t worry one bit! You definitely will not lose your money on the
theme park tickets you’ve purchased when you’re unable to attend on a specific day. This happened to my family last December. I purchased tickets and we changed our plans, but we didn’t forfeit our tickets. As long as your tickets are not used, they act as a credit toward the purchase of a new ticket. All you have to do is call (407) 939-5277 to speak to a Cast Member, who will help you renew that unused ticket, so it can be applied to a future date.
Miriam, keep your confirmation numbers for your tickets handy. The Cast Member will need them to be able to renew those tickets if you don’t end up using them.
In the meantime, I encourage you to keep an eye out for
Special Offers before your next magical visit. Did you know that you can add a Special Offer to an existing reservation? I do it all the time!
