Ahoy, Jean, and thanks for sailing by planDisney!
You've got a friend in us here on the panel. We LOVE planning, and a challenge is even better! But rest assured, a group of 18 (while tricky to navigate) will make your
cruise absolutely magical! We sailed on the Magic with 25 of our Disney family last summer and had a blast. I can't wait for you to experience the same!
Ok, so what cruise to pick?! It depends on where you want to sail from and what activities everyone enjoys, but I'm happy to recommend a few.
-Since you are on the West Coast, consider sailing from San Diego. The
Wonder has 3, 4, and 7-night cruises from California to Mexico. I love this cruise for large parties because you have exhilarating options for the thrill seekers (
4x4 adventures in Cabo!) to a
Mexican Cooking Experience for the foodies.
-When I think of cruising with the Grands, I imagine that the oldest generation has been there and done that! So, consider an
Alaskan cruise where you experience other-worldly vistas and have one-of-a-kind port adventures. One of my dear friends recently returned from an Alaskan cruise and said sledding with the Iditarod pups was an actual bucket list item!
-Finally, if you want to cover everyone's magical dreams, I would book a
Land & Sea adventure sailing from Port Canaveral. You can spend a few days exploring Walt Disney World (which has something for everyone!) and then relax on a fantastic cruise to the Caribbean. The
4-Night Bahamian Cruise sails to both of Disney's private islands and is the perfect cap for a magical vacation.
Jean, check the
Special Offers page to see if there are any discounts that will work for your party. With multiple staterooms, any discount is helpful! When you're ready to book your cruise, you can book up to 4 staterooms at a time online, or feel free to call a Disney Cruise Line Specialist who will be happy to help you.
Feel free to float back with any additional questions. Bon Voyage!
