what is a good dinner experence to do for first timers with twins age 6 and son age 10? we need to fill a spot for dinner.

I'll give you some of my family's favorite dining experiences last year when my twins were 7 and my older daughter was 10 ...

One of the most fun restaurants on property is the Whispering Canyon Cafe in the Wilderness Lodge resort. Food is served in giant skittles. They specialize in western favorites like ribs and BBQ chicken, but they also have lighter entrees and vegetarian dishes as well. The servers here include many long-term cast members who make a big point of making the place fun. There are nightly hobby horse parades through the dining room, several of the servers make great headwear out of napkins, and be sure to ask for ketchup with your meal (for a real silly treat).

We also love the Teppan Edo restaurant in the Japan pavilion at Epcot. This is a Japanese hibachi style dining experience where the food is cooked on the table in front of you. The chefs make truly delicious (and healthful) meals, with a bit of Disney flair thrown in.

Another good choice might be the Sci-Fi Diner at Disney's Hollywood Studios. The restaurant is set up like an old time drive-in movie. Instead of tables, there are faux cars you sit in while you eat. And during the meals a continuous loop of campy classic science fiction film clips is shown. The kids even get a real kick out of seeing a bit of a movie in black and white.

Hope this gives you some ideas. Let us know if you need more.
