Good Day, For the lightning lanes multipass, if you book it 7 days out day for example at Animal Kingdom and then decided a day or two before the LL reservation that you actual want to go to Magic Kingdom, can you do this before scanning into the park?

Hi Rebecca, welcome to planDisney! Lightning Lane Multi Pass has saved my family so much time waiting in line. We almost always buy it for Magic Kingdom since there are so many multi pass experiences there.

While Lightning Lane Multi Pass is non-refundable, it’s extremely flexible if your plans change! You can modify the theme park, and even the date of visit, as long as there’s availability. I chatted with a Cast Member who confirmed that you can make this change anytime before scanning into your first Lightning Lane entrance.

If you’re modifying to a more expensive park or date, you’ll have to pay the price difference (though you won’t receive a refund if your new selection is priced lower than what you originally booked).

You’ll likely see less multi pass experience availability as you get closer to your visit, so I’d recommend deciding if you’re going to switch parks as soon as you can.

If you have park hopping privileges, that unlocks a whole new world of possibilities! Let’s say you decide to go to Animal Kingdom. After scanning into your first Lightning Lane entrance, you can book another available multi pass experience in any park, including Magic Kingdom. You could even modify your remaining two Animal Kingdom selections to Magic Kingdom selections if you were ready to hop to the next park (subject to availability).

And it gets even better! Lightning Lane Multi Pass also includes digital downloads of select attraction photos and videos. They’re among my family’s favorite pictures from Disney World and a great way to remember the vacation. Be sure to bring a linked MagicBand (officially known as a Disney Band outside of the United States), or a mobile phone with Bluetooth enabled for the My Disney Experience app, so you don’t miss your photos. That would be a Bibbidi Bobbidi Bummer!

Once that’s set up, most attraction photos and videos will magically appear in your Disney account. Just keep an eye out for some rides, like Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin, where you need to scan your MagicBand next to your photo after exiting the ride.

Wishing you a magical visit to Disney World! And don’t hesitate to come back to planDisney if you have more questions before your trip.
