Hi Chelsea!
Thanks for visiting planDisney! We are so happy to help guests plan aspects of their vacation! I'm glad I can help you with your question about parking at the Walt Disney World Resort! For guests who decide to drive to the Most Magical Place on Earth,
parking is plentiful at the theme parks. Standard parking is available for $25 per day. Preferred parking is available for $45-50 per day, depending on the car size. If you are staying at one of the Walt Disney World Resort hotels, there is a fee for parking per day. Value Resort guests are charged $15 per day for parking. Moderate Resort guests are charged a daily parking fee of $20. Finally, guests of Deluxe resorts are responsible for a daily parking fee of $25.
Chelsea, it is very important to have a transportation plan when heading to the parks in the early morning! Guests wishing to drive to
Magic Kingdom before park opening can arrive up to one hour prior to park opening. My suggestion to you is to head be at the entry gates at the one hour mark to ensure you get a good spot. You can then park your car, and head to the ferry or
monorail for transport to Magic Kingdom
Should you ultimately decide not to drive, there are several
transportation options for you. If you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, you may opt to take a bus to Magic Kingdom. If you are staying at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, or Disney's Wilderness Lodge Resort, you can choose to take a water taxi to the theme park. If you are staying off property, you can opt for a taxi to take you to the Transportation and Ticket Center, and then you can take a ferry or monorail over to Magic Kingdom.
Hope this helps you plan your magical vacation!
