Hi, Ron! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thanks so much for stopping by with your question.
Disney After Hours at Magic Kingdom Park is the most magical way to experience all the treasures of the kingdom! This practically perfect event offers the thrills of select attractions and pixie-dusted moments with some favorite Disney characters. Tickets to the events are limited, so I usually find the crowds to be much lower than a regular day in the park, almost as if the park was just ours! Now, if we could just get them to allow us to sleep in our own suite in Cinderella Castle...
Your tickets to enter Magic Kingdom Park for the Disney After Hours event can be picked up at any time and at any ticket window at the theme parks or Guest Relations in Disney Springs. However, you will not be able to get the lanyard until you enter the park that evening. These lanyards serve as identification that you hold a ticket to the event once it begins. After you scan your ticket or MagicBand to enter the park, Cast Members will be in the immediate area passing them out to guests. If you decide to use one of your Disney Theme Park Ticket admissions to visit Magic Kingdom Park earlier in the day, then you will also be able to find Cast Members at various spots in the park after 7:00 p.m. passing out the lanyards to eligible guests. Be sure to also pick up the Times Guide for the event, which will be your guide to the magic. It will list all available attractions and locations for food and beverages. Wait, we need to discuss the food - did you know you are welcome to enjoy unlimited Mickey's Premium Ice Cream Bars that evening? Gawrsh! That's delicious fun!
Thanks again for stopping by and please let us know if you have any other questions as you continue to plan your pixie-dusted adventures!
