Ho, ho, ho, Chelsey!
Thank you for jingling all the way to planDisney with your question. I am so excited to hear you will be celebrating this holiday season with Mickey Mouse and all of his pals!
You know the most holly, jolly time of year has arrived when the iconic candy canes start to make their appearance.
Hand-pulled candy canes are a cherished Christmastime tradition at Disneyland Resort in California! These sugary works of art are exclusive to that park, but Walt Disney World Resort in Florida does offer handmade treats, including some holiday exclusives, as well. I love to spend time soaking in the sights and smells of the
Main Street Confectionary in Magic Kingdom Park. Be sure to make a stop here during your visit and help yourself to an early Christmas treat!
Disney's Candy Cauldron at Disney Springs is also is a favorite stop for my family, with delicious candied apples and during the holidays, some special Christmastime candies. This is the perfect place to pick up some stocking stuffers!
Although
returning to the magic this holiday season may look a little different than Christmases past, there are still plenty of gifts to unwrap during your visit! From holiday promenades at EPCOT to Minnie Mouse's yuletide gathering at Hollywood and Vine, there are
plenty of festive surprises for elves of all ages to enjoy. I am really looking forward to taking pictures in front of Cinderella Castle with all of the new projections planned, including one that will transform the towers into a comfy Christmas sweater! I also LOVE Christmas trees, so consider planning some time during your visit to tour the resorts and Disney Springs as each has their own unique trees!
The holidays are a season for giving, but this year, we may have to channel our inner Grinch and keep some things to ourselves. During my visit in July, I saw firsthand the exceptional safety measures put in place to keep Guests and Cast Members safe and ensure we aren't sharing germs. These guidelines include temperature checks, physical distancing and required face coverings, but do not include testing for COVID-19 at this time. Be sure to continue to watch
Disney's experience updates as your arrival date approaches for any changes to these health and safety measures.
Prep and Landing will be ready for your return to planDisney if you have any additional questions before your holiday vacation, Chelsey. I hope to see ya again real soon!
