Good afternoon, Is it true that Scrooge McDuck passed away in 1967 at the age of 100? if not does he make appearances for photo ops?

If you listen closely, Robert, you can hear coins clinking in the distance. I'm happy to report that's the sound of Scrooge McDuck counting his fortune! Everyone's favorite miser is alive and filthy rich, thanks to several adventures that magically extended his long life. Did you know he spent some time in a different dimension? He also drank from the Fountain of Youth. And how can we forget the time he was cryogenically frozen while searching for treasure? Scrooge is one lucky McDuck, and we're all more FORTUNE-ate because of it.

Robert, I recently saw the shrewd businessman himself on an Adventure Flotilla at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. So we have proof that the rumors of his death have been exaggerated! I suppose that maintaining his vast fortune keeps him busy because he seldom has time to visit Disneyland Resort. But characters are subject to change, so you can always check the Disneyland Mobile App to see who might pop up. Tap the Pin icon along the bottom of your phone screen to bring up the park map, and then tap the drop-down menu at the top to sort by Characters. You'll see a complete list of who is currently available to meet and greet. For example, once Mickey's Toontown reopens at Disneyland Park this spring, I'd be willing to bet Scrooge's famous nephew Donald Duck will be there!

I hope your visit this spring is RICH in adventure, Robert. I know you'll TREASURE your memories. I hope you stop by planDisney again soon. I'm BANKING on it!

    Magic awaits
