Hi Lisa!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney! As a fellow Annual Passholder, I’m happy to help you out!
If you end up having a change of plans, you’ll want to cancel or modify your
park reservation by 11:59 PM Eastern the day before the reservation. As you make your park reservation, there will be a section with instructions on how to do that if needed.
It’s a very simple process if you end up needing to modify or cancel! So, with that being said, I always recommend making your park reservation as soon as possible to ensure that you get to visit the park you have your heart set on.
It’s good to note that you will not need park reservations at all in a couple of different situations. First up,
good-to-go days. If you see a circle around the date on the
park reservation availability calendar, that’s a good-to-go day, and no reservations will be required. That means you’ll be able to enter any park at any time (pending capacity) without a park reservation on that date. These are added to the calendar periodically.
Next up, you’ll be able to enter any park without a reservation any time after 2:00 PM (again, pending capacity), except
Magic Kingdom on Saturdays and Sundays. This allows for a little more flexibility if you’re only planning to spend the afternoon or evening at the parks.
I hope that helps! And that you have the best time enjoying the parks! Let us know if you have any other questions.
