Ahoy Lynn and WELCOME BACK to the
Disney Parks Moms Panel! How exciting to have an upcoming stay at
Disney’s Beach Club Resort in
Walt Disney World this September! With your vacation just around the river bend, it is that exciting time where you can start making those dining reservations and finalizing your plans. There have been some changes made as Walt Disney World enters the initial reopening period of the parks and resorts and while some experiences will not be available, there is still plenty of the Disney magic that we have all grown to know and love.
As a seafood loving family, Cape May Café is one of our favorite places to dine while in Walt Disney World, too. Just like many of the buffet style restaurants, Cape May Café will be unavailable during the initial reopening phase, in an effort to follow the current health and safety guidance. At this time there has not been any further information made available about when Cape May Café might reopen. You can continue to check the
Dining: Know Before You Go page for the latest information about dining availability and updates to the dining experience.
If it is seafood that you crave, let me make a few suggestions for some of my favorite seafood restaurants, which will be open during the initial reopening phase, in Walt Disney World. In
Disney Springs you can find
The BOATHOUSE: Great Food, Waterfront Dining, Dream Boats, with some truly excellent seafood menu items and of course, delicious non-seafood options for those land lovers. Inside
Disney’s Contemporary Resort, you can find
California Grill, which boasts not only excellent seafood options but also extraordinary views of the Seven Seas Lagoon and
Magic Kingdom Park. If you find yourself planning a day in
EPCOT,
Coral Reef is another solid choice for seafood.
I hope that this information helps you to find your next favorite restaurant while in Walt Disney World this September. Have a wonderful vacation and please stop back by any time we can help answer your vacation questions!
