Hello there, Kathy! Welcome to planDisney! Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by and allowing us to help you plan your visit to Walt Disney World Resort!

Walt Disney World Resort is known for the thrilling four theme parks, refreshing water parks, and shopping at Disney Springs but did you know that there are also many different recreation offerings on property as well? Guests are able to book such activities as fishing, horseback riding, biking, and much more!

One incredibly popular option is golfing at Walt Disney World Resort! There are four different golf courses found on property and each has its scenery that perfectly captures the beauty of Florida. The four golf courses include Disney’s Palm Golf Course, Disney’s Magnolia Golf Course, Disney’s Lake Buena Vista Golf Course, and Disney’s Oak Trail Golf Course. Guests are required to wear proper golf attire while playing which can include polo-style shirts with collars, turtleneck or mock turtleneck shirts, suitable shirts or blouses, slacks, skirts, or Bermuda-length shorts. Reservations are not required but are highly recommended. You may reserve a tee time online or over the phone by calling (407) 939-4653. It is suggested that you arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your reserved tee time so you may check-in, receive your cart assignment, and warm-up before playing.

Each golf course is equipped with a practice putting green and driving range for you to practice your skills as well! For an additional fee, you may also receive personalized lessons from PGA instructors on site. These private lessons are 45 minutes long and can be scheduled for both children and adults!

You will also find clubhouses at each golf course that feature locker rooms and showers for no additional fee! Here, you will be able to rent equipment for your game or purchase from their vast assortment of items. So, you will be able to play regardless of whether or not you brought your own equipment from home!

I hope this information assists you in planning your vacation to Walt Disney World Resort! Please let us know if we can assist with planning any other parts of your visit!
