are the golf cart cords long enough to reach the outlet to plug in and charge at disney's fort wilderness campground?

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Cynthia! Tick-tock! Your Holiday visit to the Walt Disney World Resort is just days away! Thanks for stopping in with your question.

A visit to The Campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort is always complimented by renting a golf cart. It’s the absolute best way to get around this frontier themed resort! It’s also the most convenient way to get to the marina, where you can use Walt Disney World Water Transportation to get to the Magic Kingdom Park

Cynthia, I spoke to a Cast Member at the golf cart rental office, and they informed me there should be an extra outlet at your campsite. It’s actually camouflaged as a tree stump! The cord to charge your cart should pull out long enough to get to that outlet, so you won’t have to worry! If you have any additional questions about your cart, you can always give the Cast Members a call at (407) 827-2742. They are always super helpful!

My family will actually be visiting next week, and we can’t wait to take in all of the Holiday fun at this resort. You and your family will love driving around the different campsites to see all of the Holiday decorations. It’s our absolute favorite part of visiting! You also won’t want to miss the Electrical Water Pageant- Magic Kingdom Park during your stay. You can enjoy it nightly, right from the Fort Wilderness dock.

I hope this information is helpful to you as you put those finishing touches on your upcoming trip. Feel free to come back to see us if you have any more planning questions. Helping you with the details of your next magical visit is our pleasure!
