Hi Joseph!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I too am a Walt Disney World Gold
Annual Passholder. This type of Annual Pass is available to both
Florida residents and
Disney Vacation Club Members. This is the third year I have purchased this type of Annual Pass and even though we are coming from Indiana, we get a good value for our passes!
Once the blackout dates for Annual Passes have been published, you can feel confident that Disney will not add additional dates. Though rare, it is possible that dates may be lifted. Blackout dates are published one year in advance. Usually, blackout dates for the Gold Annual Pass are the two weeks around the Easter holiday and two weeks around the Christmas and New Year holidays. While the December 2020 and January 2021 blackout dates are not currently published, I would anticipate the weeks before and after those holidays to be blacked out.
In addition to admission to all four theme parks, and the ability to park hop, we take full advantage of the
merchandise discount with our Annual Pass and the included
Memory Maker. While we generally fly to Florida on our vacations, since you are a Florida resident, you may find a good value in the included theme park parking.
Please let us know if you have any additional questions, especially about Walt Disney World Annual Passes. We are always happy to help!
