Hello Linda!
Castaway Creek, the lazy river at
Disney's Typhoon Lagoon, is so much fun! I think there is nothing more fun than floating down the water through waterfalls, refreshing mists, and rainforest landscapes.
While the water is refreshing, it certainly is hot in Florida during the month of August. I can completely relate to wanting to make sure you have a plan to stay hydrated. You will be happy to hear that you can bring a bottle of water with you on the lazy river. You can even
bring in your own bottled water or reusable water bottle if you want.
Typhoon Lagoon has seven water slide rides, one kiddie slide, one child play area, a lazy river, a wave pool, and a small trail. With all of these activities, you are sure to have a fun-filled day! Make sure to bring sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, and possibly a miniature fan to stay cool. You can also enjoy ice cream, frozen drinks, ice-cold soft drinks, and water to stay cool and hydrated.
I hope you have a magical vacation!
Magically,
Stacy
