Can I go to Tri Circle D ranch without a reservation at the resort?

    Debbie,

Yes, you can visit the Tri-Circle-D Ranch at Disney's Fort Wilderness without a resort reservation. It has always been a family favorite, and it has only gotten better since its recent renovation.

So what is there to do?
    • Pony Rides. These are currently available on a walk-in basis only but are a great way to see a lot of the complex.
    • Horseback Riding. You have to reserve these online, though there is a limited number of walk-in spots available as well. I recommend you plan ahead, though you can try your luck.
    • Explore. Simply walking around and taking it all in is fun too.
Typically, it is open from 10 am to 5 pm. The easiest way to get there is to take the boat from in front of the Magic Kingdom Park to the Settlement area of Fort Wilderness. From there it is just a quick 1/3 mile walk to the Ranch.

    BONUS TIP
We have always visited the ranch as a pre-dinner activity prior to our visit to the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue. Hoop-Dee-Doo is on my family's top 5 list of activities we have to do on EVERY Walt Disney World vacation!

Please feel free to write me back if you have any follow-up questions.
