Hey there, Tiffany, and welcome to planDisney!
If you're ready to make a splash in Walt Disney World, Disney's water parks are the place to do it! In case you missed it, there are actually two water parks in Disney World:
Disney's Blizzard Beach and
Disney's Typhoon Lagoon. Both offer family-friendly waterslides,
playzones for little ones, and
big-time thrills for the daredevils among us. There's truly something for everyone, so I know you're in for a
fin-tastic day!
Tiffany, I love that you chose the Park Hopper® Plus option for your upcoming trip. This gives you lots of flexibility and helps you extend the magic!
First of all, you're more than welcome to hit the water park as soon as you arrive on check-in day. Remember that your 3-Day Park Hopper® Plus ticket gives you a total of three visits to the water parks, the ESPN Wide World of Sports, or a variety of golf experiences, including the
Winter Summerland Miniature Golf course. These are valid for a 5-day period, so you can spread out your visits and prolong the fun!
Before I let you go, a few quick tips for the water parks! I recently spent the day at Blizzard Beach with my pal
JoAnna, and wanted to pass along a few things we learned. First, be sure to wear water shoes to protect your feet from hot pavement. We both went barefoot and wound up constantly chasing the shade! A waterproof bag can also be helpful, but you can also
rent a locker to store your belongings. Finally, consider
renting an umbrella to guarantee a shady spot to relax. This service is available at both water parks and can be booked up to 60 days in advance through your My Disney Experience app.
I hope this helps, Tiffany, and that your upcoming stay is nothing short of magical! If you have any other planning questions, feel free to
write me directly, right here at planDisney.
Just keep swimming,
Allison
